My name is Tony Tolbert and I am a licensed amateur radio operator living in Indianapolis Indiana. I’ve always been intrigued with electronics and wireless communications, having got my start at a very young age with my uncle Bob’s and dad’s CB radio interest. At the age of 18, on June 22nd, 1996, I received my first amateur radio license, a Technician No-Code, with the callsign of KB9OHS. In 2000, I applied for the vanity callsign of W9AMT, and in 2009 I finally upgraded to a General class licence. I enjoy all aspects of the hobby, but I have a special place in my heart for building and installing radio repeater systems. I am part of the largest DMR group in Indiana, Hoosier DMR.
